The following teachers are participating in “Teacher Survivor”: Mr. Haas, Mr Lewis, Mr. Bates, Mr. Zipple, Mrs. Hall, Mrs. Campbell, Mrs. Stewart, Mrs. Schwartz, Ms. Barret and Ms. Conrad. These teachers have volunteered to compete in “Teacher Survivor” until December 16th when the ultimate survivor will be announced. The proceeds are being raised for Children’s Hospital, “Kids Helping Kids” campaign. The 5th period Service-Learning class is sponsoring the event. Each teacher is given a container to collect money throughout the school day. The cans are collected at the end of each day and counted. The teacher with the least amount of money is announced on the morning announcements and is asked to leave the tribe. The eliminated teacher may continue collecting and give their money to one of the remaining survivors to help keep them in the game. The teacher with the most money will receive immunity for that day. The immunity idol is a Children’s Hospital floppy friend Duck. Several challenges will be given throughout the week in an attempt to receive additional immunity for that day. The money collected will be donated to the Children’s Hospital Free Care Fund on December 19th on KDKA radio around 10:00 am.
