Spring Fling

      On March 24, 2007, Service Learning partnered with the Fairview Grange to hold a community Spring Celebration. The community "Spring Fling" benefited all the children in the community by giving them a safe place to celebrate spring. There were over fifty children that attended the event. At the celebration service learning had games to play and prizes to hand out. The grange provided door prizes and refreshments. There were several crafts and there was also an area where children could get tattoos. There were a variety of games that ranged from throwing games and ski ball to a giant board game that you could take part in. After all of the Service Learning activities, a magician came and performed a show for all of the children.
