Sean Ramaley and State Senator Jerry Lavalle, B.R.I.D.G.E. and the Lend a hang network all sponsored this year's event. Six seniors and two juniors from the Wester Beaver Service-Learning class helped by cleaning trash along the streets, weeding around playground equipment, wiping down the council chambers of the city building, and stained the gazebo, signs, and wood items of the 37th Street Park. Students received Youth Day t-shirts and a complimentary lunch catered by Center Stage. The students found it to be a gratifying and rewarding experience and enjoyed being able to help another community.
