Subway and Channel Two have teamed up to award the "Extra Effort" award to high school seniors that not only volunteer their time to making their school sports teams great, but also volunteer contributing to the community. Our very own Marcus Platz was one of the recipients, and he walked away with two three-foot Subway subs, as well as a $200 donation to the school (while another school-star, Shane Waida, had the honor of making the commercial for the news special which aired on KDKA on March 20th). Way to go, Marcus!!
