Every year, BAAD and Service Learning team up to create the Western Beaver Morp dance, our annual "backwards prom". Just like regular prom, every year has a fun theme, and all the students in attendence elect one boy from each grade to make up the Morp Court, while one of the lucky senior boys is elected as the Morp King. This year's theme was "The Red Carpet Affair". Papparazzi swarmed the front doors as rock stars, Oscar winners, and other high-profile celebraties rocked Western Beaver High School. Senior Marcus Platz beat out fellow Seniors Brian Ewing and Joe Paytas, and walked away with the Morp King crown.
