Senior Day recognizes the individuals involved in extra curricular activities at Western. There is an assembly during school in which the senior football players trade in their jerseys for skirts and become cheerleaders for a day while the cheerleaders pick up the pads. The next day, at the football game, seniors who are involved in sports or other activities are announced as they walk on the field escorted by their parent.
