    WHAT IS A SCHOLARLY SOURCE?

     

    Welcome to your fourth snow day assignment!

    Below you will find your directions and materials to comlpete the needed activity.  Upon your return to school, we will review and discuss it.  So, please make sure to bring any questions you may have to school tomorrow!

     

    The word scholarly is defined as having or showing knowledge of a topic.  The word source is defined as a person, place, or thing of which something comes from.  A scholary source is a source that has been written and then reviewed by others who are also knowledge on the topic being shared and discussed.  Scholarly sources are what we use in the research process to make and support a claim!  WIKIPEDIA is often a source that many people go to for information, but is it credible?  Can we trust the information being shared on this popular website?  You be the judge!  To complete this assignment, follow the steps below.
