The Western Beaver County School District is proud to offer a full continuum of special education services and programs to all students eligible for such services. We implement and support inclusion Learning Support services, as well as Life Skills and Emotional Support services. Western Beaver also offers services such as speech/language therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, as well as support for hearing and/or visually impaired students. Social, behavioral, and sensory needs of students are met with appropriate supports. School districts may not charge parents of eligible students with disabilities for the costs of related services that have been included on the child's IEP when the team has determined that such services are required in order for the child to benefit from his or her education.

The district is excited to announce that a therapy dog was approved! Our dog is currently going through the needed training and will not be in classrooms or with students until this is completed. Please see the Therapy Dog handbook link on the left-hand side of this page for additional information.

If you would like further information about our services, please contact Mrs. Elizabeth Altenhof- Director of Student Services.
