Dear Western Beaver Families,

The Western Beaver County School District appreciates your flexibility and understanding during the recent snowstorm, which disrupted our daily schedule and required the cancellation of school on Monday, January 26, as well as a blend of virtual and in-person instruction from January 27 through January 30.

As shared in a message sent last week, the District will not need to make up the canceled instructional day. Western Beaver continues to meet the state requirements of 900 hours of instruction for elementary students (grades K–5) and 990 hours of instruction for secondary students (grades 6–12).

Therefore, the District will continue to follow the 2025–2026 school calendar and will recognize the scheduled day off on February 9.

We understand that the past few weeks have been challenging for parents, students, and staff. Western Beaver thanks everyone for their continued patience and flexibility as winter weather may continue to impact our school schedule.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Western Beaver Area School District
