The GESA project continues to make strong progress, with several key milestones achieved and major work remaining on schedule.
Cafeteria Roof: Roof installation is complete, and wall panels and gutters are being installed with completion expected by August 21.
Electrical Panels: 22 of 26 electrical panels have been installed, with the remaining four panels being expedited to maintain the project schedule.
Roof Restoration: Air intake installation is underway, preparation for the liquid membrane application has begun, auditorium flashing is complete, and chimney demolition work is progressing at both the High School and Fairview Elementary.
Soffit Improvements: Soffit lighting demolition has started, with new soffit installation scheduled to follow.
Window/Security Film: The district and vendor are working together to finalize the graphic design for the security film installation.
Grant Funding: Existing state grant applications remain under review, and a federal COPS Grant application has been submitted to support future security upgrades
